PAL and NTSC formats

There are two 'video standards' in use around the world: PAL and NTSC. These 'standards' refer to how a TV creates a picture.

Our DVDs are PAL.
Everyone can view our DVDs on a computer
Everyone with a PAL-compatible system can view our DVDs on their dvd-player/TV system.

PAL areas: Europe, Africa, Australia, most of Asia, Brazil, Argentina
Everyone in PAL areas can view our DVDs on their dvd-player/TV system (unless other technical issues specific to their dvd-player prevent this).

NTSC areas: North America, most of Central and South America, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan
If you are in an NTSC area, you can view our DVDs if you have a dual-use PAL/NTSC dvd-player/TV system (unless other technical issues specific to their dvd-player prevent this).

If you are in an NTSC area, and have an NTSC-only dvd-player/TV system, you cannot view our DVDs through your TV. Please view them on a computer, or with a dual PAL/NTSC dvd-player/TV system. Or you may be able to buy a PAL-to-NTSC converter to use with your system.
